He was the editor of Young Australians for More than 20 years, from 2013 to 2016.
He is a former Queensland Labor MP, the youngest member of the Queensland Parliament, and a former state minister.
He holds a PhD in communication and international development and is currently working as a communications adviser to the Victorian Government.
